Website Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to photography, videography and content creation services provided by Katy Does Media.

 

1. Services, Payment & Turnaround

 

I will provide the services agreed in your chosen package or quote. This may include planning, shoot coverage, editing and delivery of final files.

A deposit may be required to secure your booking date. The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed due date, usually before final files are delivered.

Final files are typically delivered within 6–8 weeks of the shoot/event date, unless a different turnaround time has been agreed in writing with the client.

Any extra hours, travel, additional edits or optional add-ons will be charged separately and agreed in advance where possible.

Invoices must be paid by the stated due date. Late payments may result in delayed delivery or additional charges.

 

2. Ownership & Use

Once full payment has been made, you will have the right to use the final photos, videos and content for your personal or business use.

Katy Does Media retains copyright of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

I may use selected images or videos for my website, portfolio, social media or marketing, unless you ask me not to.

Any logos, branding, templates, tools or materials provided by either party remain the property of their original owner.

 

3. Privacy & Confidentiality

I will store and process personal information securely and only use it to provide the agreed services.

I will not share your personal data or confidential information without your consent, unless legally required.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@katydoesmedia.com.

 

4. Cancellations & Changes

Either party may cancel or end the agreement in writing.

If a booking is cancelled, payment may still be required for any work already completed, time reserved, or costs incurred.

If you need to change the date, I’ll do my best to accommodate this, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

 

5. Liability

I will always do my best to deliver high-quality work, but I am not responsible for circumstances outside of my control, such as extreme weather, venue restrictions, technical issues, illness, travel disruption or delays caused by third parties.

Both parties agree to work together fairly and reasonably throughout the project.

 

6. Agreement

By booking or working with Katy Does Media, you agree to these terms.

Electronic confirmation, email approval or payment of a deposit may be treated as acceptance of these terms.
